GIVE THANKS!

Thanksgiving is here and it’s always nice to take a moment to reflect on what we are thankful for. We are thankful for:

  • You! Thank you for your financial and prayer support, your love, your time, your sacrifice.

  • Our kids doing well in changing schools

  • Our church working well together in understanding next steps for unity and growth

  • The men and women who have been interested in having spiritual conversations

  • The seeds planted last year at Thanksgiving and the opportunities God has given us throughout the year to continue watering and caring for them

  • Everyday life with no restrictions after the pandemic

  • God’s grace, provision, direction, patience, and love

  • A Pioneers team forming in Tuscany

After returning from the USA this summer we’ve been experiencing life in Italy as a family of six without pandemic restrictions and in full activity for the first time. It has been nice to be fully active without interruptions at school or after school activities, but it has been a lot.

HOW YOU CAN PRAY

  • Energy and strength to keep up with all the organising of all the activity

  • Adrien: middle school work load, soccer practices and games, his skills and gifts to be used for God’s glory

  • Rinat: continued enthusiasm for new school and homework, confidence in who he is and who God has created him to be as an individual

  • Ruzanna: continued health and strength in her back, her understanding of God and His love for her to continue to grow and her gentle and kind spirit to never leave her

  • Sitora: for her to love to be the youngest and enjoy being little still, for her intelligence to help her to be wise and trusting in what God has for her

We gathered our two churches, TrE and Il Granaio, one Sunday after two years of not being able to gather all together. It was an encouraging time to worship in the same place.

HOW YOU CAN PRAY FOR IL GRANAIO

  • For a meeting place that would facilitate growth and outreach

  • For unity and passion to reach others with the Gospel

  • For ways and resources to develop consistent encounters with people and the Bible

  • For the men and women who have shown interest in Spiritual conversations and Bible studies to find the time and the desire to make it a priority in their life

Leaving Charlotte in Florence for the continuation of her vision trip

Since Andrea took on the area leader position for Pioneers Italy we have been working with three units who are headed for Tuscany! So far one young woman, Holly, is in Florence already getting set up for life and ministry there. Another, Charlotte (pictured above), is visiting a couple of different churches in the Tuscany area to eventually join and start ministering full time in one of them. The last is a family of three, Hunter, Chelsea and Maren, and they are support raising and planning to be in Pisa by summer 2023.

HOW YOU CAN PRAY

  • For guidance and wisdom from God as we help to lead these Pioneers team members into the ministry God is calling them to here in Italy

  • For each one of these team units as they raise support, make decisions for where to serve in Italy, for their setup in country and for the process of joining a local church and serving well with them

Please pray for God to bless our efforts and give us the strength, inspiration and passion to share His truth with those around us.

We wish you a blessed and very Happy Thanksgiving! May God fill you with gratitude for all that He is and all that He has done.

The seeds that were planted last year around our Thanksgiving table have been watered and cared for throughout this year. We pray that they would continue to grow in this next year and that God would continue to help us plant more and more seeds.
