Heading Over the Ocean

USA Here We Come!

It has been four years since the last time we traveled to the US as a family. Getting ready with one child was a big job and now we’re really working hard to get prepared for the six of us! All school and extracurricular activities have ended well and now we’ve got just a few days to really focus and get everything together for our trip! The kids are soooo excited. We are very excited too, a little tired, but definitely ready to enjoy some family and friend time!

We leave from Venice this coming Saturday, July 2nd and we arrive in Wilmington, NC that same day. We’d love your prayers for smooth travel as we’ve been hearing that flying is not so easy these days. Our flights have already been changed three times. Thankfully, we’ve been able to work out the kinks so far. Our layover in Atlanta was either going to be 7 hours long or 2 and a half hours, so we opted for the shorter wait. However, this means we will need to be quick to get through customs and onto our connecting flight.

  • For strength and peace as we finish up packing and preparing our house and ministry things for the time we are away.

  • For grace and patience while we travel and for God’s favour in all our flights and airport connections.

  • For Adrien and Rinat as they embark on the adventure of American, overnight summer camp with Centrikids! Camp is from July 5th through July 9th. Pray for their jet lag and for their adaptation with many new faces, new culture and a second language. Pray that their relationships with God would grow immensely as they worship and enjoy fellowship with other Christian kids! Pray that they would have a ton of fun and be blessed by this experience.
